Construction Surveyor

Field Surveyor - Earthworks
Requirements:
-
Available to work 2 and 1 rotations or 1 and 1 depending on requirements

Be able to work under pressure and fast pace environment
-
Be mathematically inclined
Duties:
-
Properly handling and operating GPS units; Handheld GPS units; level and laser level
-
Laying out limits for excavation and back-fill
-
Staking out design lines and surfaces
-
Performing regular as built topographic surveys
-
Performing quantity surveys on a regular basis
-
Maintaining a proper field book
-
Experienced with Auto CAD/Auto CAD Civil 3D.
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
-
Other related duties, as assigned.

Communicate with surveyors and contractors to complete survey tasks.

Assist with preparation of survey notes, grade sheets and calculations.

Assist with completion of accurate topographical surveys and construction layouts, roads, grading
-
Qualifications
-
Diploma in Civil or Survey Engineering Technology.
-
2 - 4 years Surveying experience (preferred)
