Any person handling or using propane hired by Caron Equipment Inc. must be accordingly trained and hold a valid propane handling certificate acknowledged by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority.

 

Although propane is a fuel commonly used in the industry across Ontario, its dangers are often forgotten.  Propane is stored at high pressures and is very flammable.  If the proper precautions are not taken, extensive damage to life and property can result.

 

Special training is required to work safely with propane and propane equipment.  It is important to understand the hazards of propane and to know the procedures and controls necessary to minimize those hazards.
