Office Administrator

Caron Equipment Inc. is seeking an Office Administrator for Côté Gold Mine near Gogama on a 7 day in 7 day out rotating shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies. The candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and providing support to various departments. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision.

Office Administrator duties and responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable

  • Post customer payments by recording all payment transactions

  • Communicate and collaborate with Customers, Supervisors and Finance team

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

  • Order Office supplies

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner

Office Administrator skills and qualifications include

  • Outstanding abilities to communicate in person, in writing and over the phone

  • Familiarity with common procedures and basic account principles used in the office

  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

  • Experience with invoicing and data entry software

  • Ability to keep track of a variety of details
