Job Description

Caron equipment Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Administrator. As a Business Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning at Cote Mine near Gogama, ON on a  seven day in /seven day out(7/7) rotation with the potential of fourteen day in/fourteen day out (14/14) rotation. You will work closely with various departments to streamline processes, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the business.

Responsibilities

 

  • Office Administration: Oversee general office operations, including managing supplies, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases. Prepare and distribute internal documents, reports, and correspondence as required.

  • Calendar and Meeting Management: Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute follow-up actions to relevant parties.

  • Communication and Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Provide timely and professional responses to inquiries, ensuring effective communication both internally and externally.

  • Data Management: Assist in data entry, data analysis, and database management. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Financial Support: Assist with financial tasks, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records. Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Project Coordination: Support project managers in organizing project-related activities, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met. Help prepare project reports and presentations.

  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement streamlined processes and procedures as approved.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and teams to foster effective communication, coordination, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven 1-3 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and responsibilities.
